For more than 45 years, Chuck Miller, CAA served as a teacher, coach, and as an Athletic Administrator. The Atlanta native graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School in 1961 and from West Georgia College in 1965. For 36 years, Miller coached basketball at Woodbury, Milner, Monticello, Cartersville, and Henry County High Schools.

During this time Miller coached both the girls and the boys teams totaling 865 victories. During his outstanding coaching career, Miller served as the President and the State Basketball Chairperson of the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association. He served as coach of the North-South All-Star game (boys) as well as the Georgia-Tennessee All-Star game (girls).

Because of his accomplishments as an Athletic Administrator, Chuck Miller joins Alvin Copeland and Dexter Wood as the only inductees into both the GADA and GACA Halls of Fame. Miller was named Region Athletic Director of the Year in 1994, 1999, 2008, and 2010. He served on the Georgia High School Association Executive for a total of 10 years and has served as Region President and Region Secretary over the years. Under his leadership, Henry County High School added fast pitch softball, volleyball, and competitive cheerleading as varsity sports and he also led the way in the construction for the football, baseball, basketball, and track facilities at Henry County High School.

Chuck and his wife, Debbie have been married for 44 years. They are the proud parents of two children, Lynn and Curt, and 6 grandchildren.
